Not a whole lot of stuff has happened. The weekend was dedicated to band, but overall the weekend was good. The dog is no longer ours… My mom never connected with her on the emotional level, so she decided to return the dog to the breeder. It sort of made me sad, but I guess it is for the best. Oh well.
The nerd side of me has been in deep distress for the past three weeks. My good gaming computer has died. I thought I had correctly diagnosed a dead CPU, so I ordered another one of those. I was wrong, the CPU was not the problem. So that means that the motherboard is dead… so I ordered a new motherboard. And some more memory, and some new fans, and a new heatsink… Basically I have poured close to $500 into trying to fix this computer… It saddens me. A lot. It’s actually a really sweet computer when it’s up and running, but when it’s dead, it’s just a waste of space and money.
Anyways, I’m off to get some more work done. I’ll check in once something interesting occurs.
Forgive me for my lack of creativity in the title of this post, I seriously can’t think of anything worthy.
I’ve got a picture of my dog, a sweet picture of my girlfriend’s eye, and some sweet pictures of Labor Day fireworks, and I’ve thrown in a prototype next tattoo. Not too sure about it at this point in time though. Here are the pictures, if you click them they should take you to a larger version. If not, please let me know and I will fix that function ASAP.
So anyways. It was a very, very good weekend. Anyways, a month or two ago I was told about a new toolbar called “The CalorieKing Food Awareness Toolbar”. This tool was created by a joint-effort of the Joslin Diabetes Center and CalorieKing. I checked it out, and it is actually pretty helpful. Granted, making a bookmark for the CK site is just as easy, but this toolbar saves you some time. Here’s a link to some more info about the toolbar (http://www.calorieking.com/toolbar/) and some more info about how Jolsin and CK are working together ( http://www.calorieking.com/joslin/).
I hope everyone is doing well, and I’m working on a post that actually has some meaning in it, but I haven’t had the time lately.
_Tom.
